Spanish helicopter operator Eliance has filed for preliminary creditor protection. AeroTime says the move is one step short of placing the business under judiciary supervision and was prompted by Eliance’s troubled financial situation, with reported short-term liquidity issues.
In fiscal year 2025, the company doubled its net loss from the preceding year, from €12 million to €24 million, and reported total revenue of approximately €54 million. AeroTime also reports that there is interest in continuing operations, while the company’s future depends on the outcome of negotiations with its creditors.
