Airbus announced on 30 September 2026 that FLYONE Armenia, described as the country's largest carrier, has finalised an order with Airbus for the acquisition of two A321neo aircraft. The agreement represents the airline's first direct order from Airbus.
The agreement was first announced as a Memorandum of Understanding during French President Emmanuel Macron's official visit to Yerevan on 5 May 2026. The two A321neo aircraft will be powered by CFM International's LEAP engines and configured in a 239-seat all-economy layout.
