EUROCONTROL and the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) jointly launched the AVENIR Environmental Catalogue on 28 September 2026 in Cologne and Brussels, aiming to strengthen environmental transparency in aviation.
According to the EASA press release, the catalogue provides air navigation service providers (ANSPs) with a structured and user-oriented overview of environmental tools, dashboards, use cases and analytical approaches.
EUROCONTROL issued a simultaneous press release confirming the collaboration, marking a significant step in European aviation environmental management.
The AVENIR Environmental Catalogue will help ANSPs access environmental performance information to support the aviation industry's sustainability goals.
