Breeze Airways operated its final Embraer E190 (ICAO type code E190) flight on September 7, 2026, completing its fleet transition to an all-Airbus A220-300 fleet. The US carrier originally launched commercial service in May 2021 utilizing ten E190s and three larger Embraer E195 (ICAO type code E195) aircraft.

Breeze Airways has taken delivery of 55 aircraft from its firm order of 90 Airbus A220-300s, while holding options for an additional 30. Founder and CEO David Neeleman stated that the airline's long-term strategy focuses on leveraging the efficiencies of the A220-300 to cost-effectively scale its business model.
