According to a report by Simple Flying on September 8, 2026, Utah-based airline Breeze has officially retired its last Embraer E190 (ICAO type code E190) aircraft. This operational transition officially moves the carrier to an all-Airbus A220 fleet, representing a new era for the airline.

Separately, on September 3, 2026, manufacturer Embraer delivered its 2,000th E-Jet, an E195-E2, to Brazil's Azul Linhas Aéreas. The E-Jet family originally entered service in 2004 and now serves more than 90 airlines in over 60 countries, amassing approximately 48 million flight hours and carrying over 2.85 billion passengers globally.
