On September 8, 2026, Shinkong Synthetic Fibers, its affiliate Ji-Xian Technology, and Swiss drone manufacturer JEDSY signed a letter of intent to establish a joint venture, Ji-Xin Technology, to localize medical logistics drone solutions in Taiwan.

JEDSY Chairman Herbert Weirather stated that drone production will relocate from Switzerland to Taiwan, making JEDSY the first international firm to enter Shinkong's InnovHUB. Ji-Xian Technology will help deploy these services using its medical logistics permit from the Ministry of Health and Welfare.

Shinkong secured a 50-year land-use right for Taoyuan's Youth Lion Smart Manufacturing Park in 2022, with the first phase completing in May 2027. The company plans to leverage its engineering plastics and 3D printing to target the low-altitude economy.
