STARLUX Airlines announced that it will raise its booking service fee from $30 USD to $33 USD starting October 7, 2026. The fee, which is processed through Global Distribution Systems (GDS) based on user-pays principles, is collected alongside flight tickets. This is the carrier's second adjustment this year, following an increase from $25 USD to $30 USD in April.
Other Taiwanese carriers have also raised their booking service fees in 2026. Tigerair Taiwan adjusted its fees starting September 1 to NT$350 per segment for off-peak flights and NT$450 for peak flights. EVA Air and UNI Air raised their fee to $33 USD in August for departures outside of the Philippines and Hong Kong, while China Airlines increased its fee to $30 USD starting July 9.
