China Airlines announced on September 7 that it plans to deploy larger aircraft for seven flights on its Nagoya route between September 17 and October 5, 2026. The operational adjustment aims to provide comfortable seating and increased baggage capacity for the Taiwan delegation and travelers attending the 2026 Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games.
Additionally, the airline is introducing limited-edition Asian Games-themed cheering items from now until October 5. These include electronic boarding passes available via the CI Mobile App for all routes between Taoyuan and Japan. The Nagoya route will also feature themed headrest covers, pillowcases, and specially designed inflight menus to support the athletes.
