EVA Air has announced that it will adjust its international baggage policy and fee structure starting September 29, 2026. The changes apply to excess baggage, prepaid excess baggage, overweight and oversized baggage rates, as well as fee standards for pets and sports equipment.
According to the airline, the rate adjustments respond to international economic conditions and geopolitical factors, reflecting rising aviation fuel prices and higher overall global operational costs.
Under the updated policy, excess baggage rates are divided into Taiwan and five geographical zones. Per-piece charges will increase from $140-$300 USD to $160-$390 USD, representing an increase of $20 to $90 USD depending on the region.
