The shipment, consisting of fragile paper paintings, was reportedly left exposed on an airport ramp in Honolulu during heavy torrential rainfall. The legal action alleges that failing to protect the delicate artwork from rain caused severe damage, leading to the $521,900 compensation demand against Alaska Airlines.
