Frontier Airlines has confirmed its final day of operations at New York John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK). The departure comes after the no-frills airline served the busiest New York City airport for only two years.
As part of its network adjustments, the carrier is trimming costly routes at JFK. Frontier Airlines is refocusing its resources on more effective airport operations.
Instead of maintaining services at JFK, Frontier Airlines will bolster its year-round flight schedule from two other major airports in the area. The airline will enhance its existing operations out of LaGuardia Airport (LGA) and Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR).
