According to a report from Simple Flying, Boeing's smallest variant in the 737 MAX family, the 737 MAX 7, has officially achieved certification. However, securing official certification from regulators does not mean that the single-aisle aircraft will enter commercial revenue service immediately.

According to historical aviation records, Boeing previously chose not to pursue certification approval for the 737 MAX 7 from European regulatory authorities at this stage. The aircraft model will be operated almost entirely by Southwest Airlines. Furthermore, Boeing had previously stated in July that it anticipated receiving official certification in 2026, with the first delivery expected to take place in 2027.
