According to a news report published by Simple Flying, airline SAS has successfully completed the installation of Starlink satellite internet equipment on more than 80 A320neo aircraft in its fleet over a period of just six months.
The rollout of satellite links across the A320neo fleet was accomplished in record time. The upgraded connectivity allows frequent flyers to gain continuous gate-to-gate video streaming access from departure to arrival.
In addition to gate-to-gate streaming capabilities, the newly installed Starlink satellite connections provide passengers with speedy access to cloud services and online tools while on board the aircraft.
