According to Simple Flying, Boeing's 777-9 and 737 MAX 10 aircraft programs are approaching the final stages of their certification process. Both airplane models are scheduled to enter commercial service in 2027 as the manufacturer completes remaining regulatory requirements.
For the 777X program, Boeing previously received approval from the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to initiate certification flight testing under Type Inspection Authorization 4B (TIA 4B). The manufacturer continues to project first delivery of the aircraft in 2027.
Regarding the narrowbody variant, Boeing has also been advancing certification flight testing for the 737-10. Public records indicate that Boeing anticipates achieving certification in 2026, with initial customer delivery scheduled for 2027.
