German leisure carrier Discover Airlines, part of the Lufthansa Group, plans to start serving three UK regional airports from summer 2027, following reports in Aerospace Global News.
According to the report, from May 2027, the airline expects to operate flights from Bristol to Frankfurt twice a week, on Mondays and Thursdays.
Flights between Frankfurt and Glasgow are planned for six times a week, with a twice-weekly summer connection to Munich.
The new route to Inverness will initially operate once a week on Saturdays from 19 June to 11 September 2027, linking the Scottish Highlands with Frankfurt.
The airline expects these routes to be served by A320 aircraft, with a flight time of about two hours.
