The United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) said on August 27, 2026, that it had delivered a batch of new Su-35S multirole fighters to the Russian Aerospace Forces, without saying how many aircraft the batch contained.
The fighters completed a full cycle of factory testing and were flown in a range of operating modes by Ministry of Defense pilots before ferrying from Komsomolsk-on-Amur to their operational base, according to the release. UAC did not identify the receiving unit, did not name the base, and gave no delivery figure. Imagery published with the announcement shows at least two aircraft.
Rostec announced comparable Su-35S handovers on April 17, 2026, and May 26, 2026, also without specifying quantities.
