Taiwan Tigerair held preliminary screening tests for cabin crew recruitment on August 29, 2026. The airline received nearly 3,000 applications, with approximately 1,700 candidates passing initial document screening to qualify for the preliminary test. The carrier plans to recruit 30 trainee cabin crew members, who are expected to report for duty in the fourth quarter of 2026.

The carrier is expanding its network to meet growing travel demand, with inaugural flights on the Kaohsiung-Komatsu and Kaohsiung-Ishigaki routes scheduled for early September 2026. The hiring drive also supports capacity expansion for its third-generation fleet, set for delivery starting in 2028. Additionally, Taiwan Tigerair introduced seven days of annual welfare leave this year and now permits cabin crew to wear glasses while on duty.
