The 2026 Asia-Pacific Sustainability Expo is being held from August 27 to 29 at the Taipei World Trade Center Exhibition Hall 1. Taiwanese carriers EVA Air and China Airlines are participating to showcase their respective carbon-reduction and sustainable aviation efforts.

EVA Air, participating for the third time, is highlighting its energy-saving measures. These initiatives include expanding its Boeing 787 fleet, planning the introduction of Airbus A350-1000 and A321neo aircraft, and utilizing big data to optimize flight paths and engine washing to improve fuel efficiency.

China Airlines is making its debut at the expo. The carrier is sharing its sustainability practices under the theme of net-zero emissions, showcasing its efforts in sustainable aviation fuel, ground and cabin carbon reduction, and passenger resource recycling to support its ESG vision.
