The Examination Yuan of Taiwan passed a decision on August 27, 2026, to add 62 recruitment quotas for three specialized civil service examinations, including foreign affairs personnel, civil aeronautics personnel, and indigenous peoples examinations. The total quota across these three exams has increased to 313 positions.
The adjustment responds to staffing needs submitted by government agencies, including the Civil Aeronautics Administration of the Ministry of Transportation and Communications. Specifically, two additional quotas were approved for the civil aeronautics examination, raising its overall recruitment quota to 44 positions. All three examinations are scheduled to begin on September 5.
