Delta Air Lines has confirmed that its first non-stop flights to Israel will restart soon, with the resumption of its New York to Tel Aviv service. On August 26, 2026, Delta said daily flights between New York John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) and Ben Gurion International Airport (TLV) will start on September 6, 2026.
The first flight departing New York will arrive in Israel on September 7, 2026, and return to JFK later that day. The flight will operate on the company's Airbus A330-900neo aircraft. Delta stated it would recommence the route following a review of the security environment, adding in a statement that 'The safety and security of our customers and employees remain our top priority,' and that it will continue to coordinate with aviation authorities and government agencies.
