British Airways is scheduled to launch an Airbus A380 service on a 14-hour route next week. According to reports, this long-haul route last saw operations with the superjumbo aircraft 16 months ago.

Separately, other airlines have adjusted their Airbus A380 schedules for 2026. Qantas plans to operate its final Airbus A380 flight from Melbourne to Los Angeles on October 24 before switching to the Boeing 787-9. Meanwhile, Emirates temporarily suspended Airbus A380 flights to Prague (PRG (PRG)) and Gla (GLA)sgow for summer 2026, with daily superjumbo services expected to resume in October.
