Saudia Group signed a memorandum of understanding in Paris on August 25, 2026, with Saudi EXIM Bank and French investment bank Crédit Agricole CIB to explore and arrange financing solutions for acquiring new Airbus aircraft.
Under the agreement, Crédit Agricole CIB will act as financier and arranger to structure financing in line with delivery schedules. Saudi EXIM Bank will serve as the export credit agency, providing credit risk insurance coverage for the transactions.
The tripartite agreement was signed by Saudia Director General Ibrahim Al-Omar, Saudi EXIM Bank CEO Saad Al-Khalb, and Crédit Agricole CIB Managing Director André Zervudachi. Saudia is currently awaiting delivery of 60 Airbus A321neo and 13 Airbus A321XLR aircraft.
