According to AeroTime, Aircalin’s first Airbus A350-900 has been spotted for the first time in Toulouse, France, fresh out of the paint shop in its iconic colorful livery. This is the first of two A350-900s that the New Caledonia-based carrier has on order from Airbus, with the second aircraft expected to follow in 2027 or 2028.

The first A350-900 is expected to be delivered to Aircalin towards the end of 2026. Once delivered, the aircraft will be deployed on the carrier's long-haul route connecting Nou (NOU)mea to Paris Charles de Gaulle (CDG (CDG)) via Bangkok (BKK (BKK)). The aircraft will feature a three-class cabin layout configured with 325 seats, including 32 business class, 24 premium economy, and 269 economy seats.
