An Indonesian Air Force Sukhoi Su-30 fighter aircraft, registration TS-3011, ran off runway 13 at Sultan Hasanuddin International Airport (UPG) in South Sulawesi on the morning of August 24, 2026, coming to rest on grass beside the runway.
Airport spokesperson Taufan Yudhistira confirmed the excursion occurred on the western runway and said handling operations were underway. Commercial flights continued on the 3,100-meter runway 03-21, with no flight disruptions reported.
Sultan Hasanuddin International Airport operates as a joint civil and military airfield. The Indonesian Air Force has not issued an official statement regarding the cause of the incident or the status of the crew.
