China Airlines announced that it has raised NT$1.8 million for charitable causes through employee charity sales and member mileage donations. Senior Vice President Li Rong-hui represented the airline at a charity movie event held at Shin Kong Cinema in Taoyuan, presenting sales proceeds to organizations including the Taiwan Fund for Children and Families, The Garden of Hope Foundation, Mu Xiang Children's Home, and Taoyuan Youth Home to support child care and disadvantaged families.
In addition, China Airlines launched a member mileage charity donation initiative in November last year, allowing Dynasty Flyer members to convert mileage into charitable contributions. As of June this year, nearly 300 members have participated, contributing over 1 million miles to recipient organizations such as Doctors Without Borders, Beyond Beauty - Taiwan From Above Inc., and Chin-Ai Music Cultural Foundation.
