STARLUX Airlines Chairman K.W. Chang piloted the carrier's Airbus A350-1000 art livery aircraft, named Sorayama Gold, from Taoyuan International Airport to Tokyo Narita International Airport on August 20, 2026. The flight departed Taoyuan at 08:30 Taipei time and arrived at Narita at 12:51 Tokyo time.

Following its arrival, Sorayama Gold was displayed side-by-side with sister aircraft Sorayama Silver on the apron at Tokyo Narita International Airport. This marked the first time both flagship art aircraft appeared together following the unveiling of Sorayama Silver in July.

According to STARLUX Airlines, both art-themed aircraft are scheduled to formally enter regular commercial passenger service starting October 1, 2026. The aircraft will operate on major international routes, including services to Tokyo, Phoenix, and Prague.
