According to Simple Flying, Air France has postponed the final retirement of its Airbus A318 fleet by four months, now targeting March 2027 for complete withdrawal.

The aircraft will continue to operate selected short‑haul city routes and retain a boutique cabin layout with 131 seats, preserving the passenger experience.

An earlier Simple Flying report noted that the A318’s final phase covered 13 countries and 37 routes, indicating a broad operational footprint before retirement.

The delay means travelers can still fly the A318 for roughly another half‑year, and Air France maintains the type’s high load factor and flexible scheduling.
