According to a report by Simple Flying, Emirates' oldest Airbus A380 aircraft is now nearly 21 years old. Despite its age, the double-deck widebody jet continues to remain in active commercial service for the airline.
Regarding recent operational routes, the aircraft flew to three different airports in the United Kingdom at the start of the month, maintaining its scheduled operations across international flights.
According to historical aviation records, Emirates Engineering previously initiated a multi-billion-dollar retrofit program aimed at fully refurbishing a total of 219 aircraft, consisting of Airbus A380 and Boeing 777 models across its long-haul fleet.
