Starlux Airlines' second Airbus A350-1000 art aircraft, named AIRSORAYAMA GOLD (registration B-58554), arrived at Taoyuan Airport on August 16, 2026. The aircraft, designed in collaboration with Japanese artist Hajime Sorayama, completed its delivery in France on August 14.

The aircraft is scheduled to make its inaugural flight from Taipei to Tokyo Narita on August 20, operating flight JX800. Starlux Airlines plans to showcase AIRSORAYAMA GOLD alongside its sister aircraft AIRSORAYAMA SILVER at Tokyo Narita International Airport, and also plans to operate the aircraft to Bangkok on August 26.

With this addition, the airline's active fleet has expanded to 36 aircraft, including four A350-1000s. Starlux Airlines stated that the A350-1000 will serve as a core model to support its long-haul network expansion.
