Swiss semi-private aviation platform PeakJet completed its inaugural flight on August 1, 2026, operating between Zurich (ZRH) and Palma de Mallorca (PMI) . The flight was operated by VistaJet GmbH using an Embraer 650 Legacy aircraft, marking the startup's entry into the European short-haul market.

PeakJet operates as an asset-light technology platform without holding its own air operator certificate. Co-founded by former Etihad Airways CEO Peter Baumgartner and aviation executive Gianni Tronza, the company plans to target routes connecting Zurich with Nice (NCE) and Malaga (AGP) , focusing on flights under 2.5 hours.
