Boeing has appointed Celso Ferrer as president of Boeing Latin America and the Caribbean, effective September 4, 2026. In this role, he will be responsible for strengthening the company's operations, strategy, and regional presence, as well as supporting growth opportunities throughout Latin America and the Caribbean.
Prior to joining Boeing, Ferrer served for four years as Chief Executive Officer of GOL Linhas Aéreas. He previously held leadership roles at the airline as Chief Operating Officer and Vice President of Planning. Ferrer is also an experienced, currently certified airline pilot who flew as part of GOL's flight crew on the Boeing 737 fleet.
Ferrer holds a degree in Economics from the University of São Paulo (USP), a degree in International Relations from PUC-SP, and an Executive MBA from INSEAD in France.
