China Airlines' inflight magazine Dynasty received the magazine layout design grand prize at the U.S. APEX Outstanding Publication Awards and also earned the digital periodical excellence award, according to a press release issued by the airline.
Dynasty uses light-and-shadow visual storytelling to depict destinations such as Rome, Italy and Da Nang, Vietnam. The APEX awards are judged by an international panel of publishing professionals evaluating outstanding works worldwide.
The judging panel particularly praised the magazine's elegant design and clear, fluent writing, noting that despite multilingual content it remains well-organized and reader-friendly, blending practical travel information with artistic aesthetics.
China Airlines said Dynasty was fully revamped this year with sharper visual layouts, adding a trends section featuring distinctive global architecture and contemporary topics, along with expanded festival and food columns.
