On August 11, 2026, Polish defense companies Wojskowe Zakłady Lotnicze Nr 1 S.A. (WZL-1), the Military Central Bureau of Design and Technology S.A. (WCKBT), and Boeing signed offset implementation agreements in Łódź, Poland. The agreements establish long-term industrial cooperation to support the sustainment, maintenance, and ground support of Poland's AH-64E Apache helicopter fleet.
Under the agreements, WZL-1 will provide maintenance, repair, and overhaul services, including intermediate-level inspections and selected depot-level component repairs. Additionally, Boeing and WCBKT will evaluate WCBKT's ground support equipment for compatibility with the AH-64E. Poland has contracted for 96 AH-64E Apache helicopters.
