The instruction commenced on August 10, 2026, at BAA Training Vietnam's simulator center in Ho Chi Minh City. The two-month competency-based program meets regulatory standards established by the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam (CAAV) and the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA).

Sun PhuQuoc Airways launched commercial flights in November 2025 and currently operates a fleet of 17 aircraft. According to the airline, building an internal pipeline of qualified pilots is a strategic priority to support its ongoing fleet expansion and route growth.
