The Royal Air Force (RAF) Red Arrows aerobatic team has cancelled three scheduled UK appearances after becoming stranded in Goose Bay (YYR), Labrador, where poor weather has delayed their return flight across the North Atlantic following a deployment in North America.

The affected events include the Airbourne Eastbourne International Airshow on 14 and 15 August, a flypast at the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo on 15 August, and Lyme Regis Lifeboat Week on 16 August. Wing Commander Sasha Nash, Officer Commanding the RAF Aerobatic Team, stated that safety remains the sole factor determining when the team can begin its journey home from Canada.
