Delta Air Lines announced it will launch daily nonstop service between Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA) and Tokyo-Narita International Airport (NRT) on March 27, 2027. The route will be operated using Airbus A330-900neo aircraft, supplementing the carrier's existing daily flights between Seattle and Tokyo-Haneda International Airport (HND).
Jeff Arinder, Delta's Vice President of International Network Planning, stated that adding Narita service expands capacity and passenger choices for travel to Japan. Port of Seattle Commissioner Toshiko Hasegawa added that expanded access to both Tokyo airports strengthens regional economic and cultural ties. Delta currently operates over 160 peak-day departures from Seattle.
