Lufthansa is set to launch high-speed Starlink inflight WiFi services on an Airbus A320neo aircraft within nine days. This initial aircraft deployment represents the very first step in a broader fleet connectivity initiative, which is planned to eventually cover a total of 850 jets across the airline group.
According to industry reporting by Simple Flying, the installation project will roll out progressively across all passenger flight operations. The Lufthansa Group targets full deployment across all of its group airlines with Starlink WiFi by 2029, bringing upgraded satellite internet connectivity to its fleet.
