According to a report by Simple Flying, Emirates has temporarily suspended its Airbus A380 superjumbo flights to Prague and Glasgow for the summer 2026 season. The temporary suspension alters scheduled aircraft operations to both European destinations during the summer schedule.

The airline expects daily Airbus A380 services to return to both Prague and Glasgow in October 2026, resuming normal daily superjumbo operations on the two long-haul routes.

In historical fleet developments, Emirates Engineering previously launched a multi-billion-dollar retrofit program to fully refurbish 219 Airbus A380 and Boeing 777 aircraft across the carrier's widebody fleet.
