According to a report from Simple Flying, a late-night Porter Airlines flight returned to the airport gate before departure. The return occurred after cabin crew members were unable to secure a standing toddler in their seat during pre-flight preparations.

The operational delay associated with resolving the cabin issue pushed the flight past the airport's enforced overnight curfew threshold. Consequently, the aircraft was prevented from taking off within the allowable operational timeframe.

Due to the curfew restriction, Porter Airlines ultimately canceled the flight entirely. The cancellation left all passengers stranded at the airport overnight.
