China Airlines announced operational adjustments for its Taiwan to Shanghai flights on August 10 in response to Typhoon White Dolphin. Under the revised schedule, flights CI201 and CI202 between Taipei Songshan Airport and Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport are cancelled. Meanwhile, flights CI501 and CI502 operating between Taoyuan and Shanghai Pudong, as well as CI583 and CI584 between Kaohsiung and Shanghai Pudong, will experience departure delays and utilize upscaled aircraft capacity.

To assist passenger transportation on Okinawa routes affected by the typhoon, EVA Air assigned larger Boeing 777-300ER aircraft for its Taoyuan-Okinawa flights on August 9. STARLUX Airlines also scheduled relief flights JX1870 and JX1871 between Taipei and Okinawa on August 9 and August 10 to clear passenger backlog. Historical records show STARLUX Airlines had previously cancelled all Taiwan-Okinawa flights on August 8, including scheduled relief flights JX1870 and JX1871.
