Lessor Jetstream Aviation Capital delivered a Saab 340B(F) cargo aircraft to Alaska-based Ryan Air on August 5, 2026. The aircraft, registered N329AE, arrived at Anchorage Ted Stevens International Airport after a five-hour flight from Bellingham International Airport.

The aircraft will be used for scheduled and chartered cargo operations throughout Western Alaska, serving more than 80 communities. Prior to conversion, the 33-year-old Saab 340 operated as a passenger aircraft for Flagship Airlines, American Eagle, and Wings West Airlines. Ryan Air is part of Saltchuk Aviation, which also owns Northern Air Cargo and Aloha Air Cargo, and operates a fleet including Cessna 207 and Pilatus PC-12 aircraft.
