Lessor Jetstream Aviation Capital delivered a Saab 340B(F) cargo aircraft to Alaska-based Ryan Air on August 5, 2026. The aircraft, registered N329AE, arrived at Anchorage Ted Stevens International Airport (ANC) after a five-hour flight from Bellingham International Airport (BLI).
The aircraft will be used for scheduled and chartered cargo operations throughout Western Alaska, serving more than 80 communities. Prior to conversion, the 33-year-old Saab 340 operated as a passenger aircraft for Flagship Airlines, American Eagle, and Wings West Airlines. Ryan Air is part of Saltchuk Aviation, which also owns Northern Air Cargo and Aloha Air Cargo, and operates a fleet including Cessna 207 and Pilatus PC-12 aircraft.
