Japan Airlines has unveiled and launched domestic flight operations with a specially themed aircraft named the JAL Jubilee Express to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Tokyo DisneySea. The domestic passenger flights officially commenced service on June 4, 2026, and are scheduled to continue operating on various routes through April 2027.

The JAL Jubilee Express is operated using a Boeing 737-800 aircraft registered as JA339J. The aircraft measures 39.5 meters in length, 12.5 meters in height, and has a total wingspan of 35.8 meters. The interior passenger cabin accommodates 165 passengers, including 20 seating positions in Class J and 145 seats in economy class.

Japan Airlines and Oriental Land Co., the operator of Tokyo Disney Resort, first officially announced the special aircraft on April 16, 2026, ahead of its public debut. The sponsorship partnership between Japan Airlines and Tokyo Disney Resort dates back to 1983 when Tokyo Disneyland first opened, and this project marks their seventh joint aircraft collaboration following their initial special livery created in 2001.

The exterior of the aircraft is painted in Jubilee Blue, which serves as the signature theme color for Tokyo DisneySea's anniversary celebration. The custom design highlights Mickey Mouse and other Disney characters in special outfits, along with imagery of park landmarks including the AquaSphere and Mount Prometheus. The aircraft flies regular domestic routes serviced by Japan Airlines' Boeing 737-800 fleet, with flight numbers posted online the evening before.

In-flight passenger features include anniversary-themed headrest covers and custom paper cups distributed in three different random designs during flights. Additionally, passengers traveling aboard the JAL Jubilee Express receive a commemorative boarding certificate sticker, which is also distributed in three random designs at one sticker per passenger per flight, subject to available promotional supplies.
