All Nippon Airways (ANA) announced on 29 July 2026 that it will add eight E190‑E2 aircraft to its existing order with Embraer, expanding the current procurement agreement.
The increase was reported by AeroTime and is expected to bolster ANA’s regional fleet flexibility, with deliveries slated for the coming years.
The additional jets will support growth on domestic and short‑haul international routes, complementing ANA’s existing fleet of larger narrow‑body aircraft.
Industry analysts view the move as a strategic response to rising regional demand, noting the E2 series’ fuel‑efficiency and lower maintenance costs.
