Taiwan's Civil Aeronautics Administration announced on August 21 that booking for a second wave of additional flights and upgraded aircraft capacity on Penghu and Kinmen routes will open on August 26 at 9 a.m. to meet travel demand during the Mid-Autumn and Teachers' Day holidays.

According to the agency, the second wave of extra services will add 4,920 seats for Penghu routes and 2,464 seats for Kinmen routes, providing a total of 7,384 seats. Passengers are advised to complete ticket issuance within airline deadlines to secure their bookings.

The agency added that regular flights and initial extra capacity for offshore island routes opened on July 27. Tickets for peak travel dates—September 24 to September 26 for outbound travel from Taiwan and September 27 to September 29 for return travel—carry restrictions, including single-flight validity and invalidation after expiration.
